Six teams had 90 days and $2,000 each to rebuild a vintage Honda 160 motorcycle.
Taking on creating a non-profit organization from its inception is no easy task. When The Iron Horse Hotel owner Tim Dixon wanted to make an impact on high school students and the diminishing number of local shop classes, Company B worked with him to create BUILD, a mentorship program pairing students with bike-savvy mentors and faculty advisors.
From designing the program and securing project donors to coordinating teams and promoting outreach events, Company B built a viable and sustaining 501(c)3 non-profit with plans to double in scope in its second year.
